Abstract

Objective To compare the clinical effects of drainage tube suction drainage and gauze packing balls drainage for treating breast flaps effusion infection,in order to provide a theoretical basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods 20 patients of effusion flap with infections after breast cancer therapies were randomly divided into observation group(n=10) and control group(n=10).Both observation group and control group carried out the same surgery for breast cancer, after the surgery, drainage tube were used in the observation group for negative pressure drainage treatment of postoperative infection, while gauze drainage treatment were used in the control group, the clinical results of two groups were compared. Results The length of cure time, medical prescriptions, length of incision, gentamicin amount, clindamycin amount in observation group were all significantly better than those of the control group(P0.05). Conclusion Negative pressure drainage tube drainage ball takes less time and medication than gauze drainage treatment, which is helpful to improve patients′ quality of life.
