Abstract
AIM: To study the chemical constituents of the leaf of Ilex purpurea Hassk.. METHOD:The constituents were extracted with solvent,separated and purified with chromatographic methods,and their structures were elucidated on the basis of NMR,MS,IR and physical-chemical constants. RESULT: Nine compounds were isolated and identified as kaempferol 3- O -β- D - galactopyranoside(Ⅰ),Astragalin (Ⅱ),Kaempferol(Ⅲ),Apigenin(Ⅳ),Quercetin(Ⅴ) Stigmasterol(Ⅵ),β-Sitosterol(Ⅶ),Daucosterol(Ⅷ) and Glucose(Ⅸ). CONCLUSION: Compound Ⅰwas obtained from the genus Ilex for the first time,and the others were obtained from Ilex purpurea Hassk. for the first time.
