The research on the relationship between the standand of urbanization and the changes of cultivated land area

Aim For the pnrpose of researching the relationship between the changes of urbanization and cultivated land area.Methods Analyzing the data of the cultivated land area and urbanization in end of years from 1991 to 2002 in Shaanxi province and using the correlation analysis and the regression analysis.Results There is reverse correlation between the urbanization and cultivated land area,then forming the linear equation.Conclusion The decrease of cultivated land area follows the development of urbanization,and suggesting some ways for solving the imbalance between accelerating urbanization process and the decrease of cultivated land area.
