Preliminary Research on the Urbanization Process and the Protection of Cultivated Land Taking Yongchuan City as a Case

Firstly,the importance of cultivated land was explained and then the urbanization level and the changing tendency of cultivated land area was analyzed with the regression analysis model.The result demonstrated that there was the positive correlation between the development of urbanization and the decrease of the area of cultivated land.The reason why the development of urbanization led to the decrease of the area of the cultivated land was pointed out.Finally,some proposals on how to protect the cultivated land in the urbanized process in Yongchuan city were put forward.
