Effect of coating chitosan on storage of mango

Abstract
The effects of different concentration of chitosan coatings on biochemical indexes and preservation effect of mango fruit were investigated.The results show that 2% of chitosan coating has the best inhibition effect on mango respiration,the least change of total acidity and enzyme activity and the lowest decay ratio.2% chitosan provides with the best storage effect for mango fruit.
