Abstract
With sericite ore produced in hubei province as the object,the separation of sericite from quartz can be realized using a technique flowsheet that raw ore crushing stirring dispersion-classification.The influence of some conditions such as liberation,dispersion and classification on processing sericite through single gravity concentration method was reviewed,the grade of the concentrate obtained by the open-circuit flowsheet using hydrocyclone as classification equipment is K2O 9.28%,and the recovery of K2O is 61.23%.So the enrichment of sericite has been realized.XRD analyse,chemical element analyse and SEM observing to the concentrate and tailings obtained by processing sericite were carried out.The results show that a effective separation between sericite and quartz has been realized by single gravity concentration method.
