Abstract

Populus alba×berolinensis exhibited excellent adaptability in Nancha forest region. Survival rate of Populus alba×berolinensis was lower by cutting propagation measure in Nancha forest region, but the survival rate could be advanced obviously by film mulching. The difference of planting survival rate was not insignificate between Populus alba×berolinensi and cathay poplar. In the earlier phase and later phase of afforestation, growth of Populus alba×berolinensi was higher than cathay poplar. And the cold tolerance and diseases and insect pests tolerance were semblable.
