Analysis of drugs used in Nanjing Children's Hospital during the period 1996-2000

Objective:To gain a clear idea of the situation and kinds of drugs used in Nanjing Children's Hospital.Methods: Applying statistical analyse to the drugs consumed in our hospital from 1996 to 2000 in respect to sum of money paid for drug, the order of drugs consumd and use of the anti-infectives. Results and Conclusion: During the period 1996 - 2000, the annual rate of growth of the sum of money for drug was 8.95%. Of all the drugs consumed,anti-infectives,hospital preparation and agent for water,energy and electron occupied the first there places all the time.The anti - infectives was decreasing year by year.
