Abstract

Objective To analyze the monitoring data of plague in Chuxiong city in 2013. Methods The surveillance data of plague in Chuxiong city in 2013It were collected and analyzed according toYunnan plague prevention and control scheme. Results Totally 11 954 rat cages per night were put in Chuxiong city in 2013.Two genera in 1 family of 1 order of the host animals were identified. Totally 357 rats were captured and the average annual capture rate was 2.99%. The density of Rattus flavipectus was 0.33%.Rattus norvegicus was the dominant species, flowed by Rattus flavipectus;There were 4 species fleas, Leptopsylla segnis was the dominant species. The flea-carrying rate of rats was 9.24%, and the total flea index was 0.45, the index for Xenopsylla cheopis was 0.16;The flea-carrying rate of Rattus flavipectus was 7.5%, the index for Xenopsylla cheopis of Rattus flavipectus is 0.05;No positive results were obtained by etiology and serology. Conclusion The plague in Chuxiong city is in a resting period and there is no sign of occurrence of plague.
