The background of the Scientific Development View is the stupendous achievement China has made, coupled with challenging problems in social economic development while the country has generally entered a well-off society. The essence of this view is to realize faster and better development of socio-economy. Its political significance lies in its attention to efficiency, its emphasis on justice, and its insistence on peaceful development. This view embodies the spirit of our Party to serve the people.
