Abstract

The new trade protectionism after the financial crisis increased the trade frictions between countries around the world.Its theoretical basis can be analyzed from the perspectives of new trade theory,political economy and the theory of new trade barriers.The characteristics of the current new trade protectionism and its influence on China are mainly reflected in the following aspects: more concealed government intervention policies,the frequent use of traditional and new trade barriers measures and frequent occurrences of trade frictions etc.To deal with these,the Chinese government should take corresponding measures and countermeasures.
