Abstract
Boehmite sol was prepared by sol-gel method with AlCl_3 and NH_3·H_2O as raw materials. Some factors, such as hydrolytic temperature,the species and amount of peptizator, evaporation time,aged temperature and time, etc., on the sol and gel properties were investigated. Analytical method of single factor was used to prepare the stable and clear boehmite sol,and to give the optimized operating conditions: hydrolytic temperature of 85 ℃,n(H~+)/n(Al~(3+))=0.14,n(H_2O)/n(Al~(3+))=140,evaporation time of 3 hours,aged temperature of 90 ℃,and aged time 4 hours.
