Chen Heqin and "Xiaozhuang Normal School"

Chen Heqin and Tao Xingzhi,the co-founders of Nanjing Xiaozhuang Normal School,were lifetime comrades and close friends.In his experiences of running schools,Chen always took this school as a model.Influenced by Tao Xingzhi's educational thought,Chen set forth an educational goal which was Be a human being,be a Chinese,and be a modern Chinese. In his late years of life,he often came to Xiaozhuang Normal School,encouraging the teachers and the students to remember Tao Xingzhi for ever and carry forward the cause left over by Tao Xingzhi.
