Abstract
Objective It is to study the influence of depside salt from salvia miltiorrhiza on blood platelet function and the clinical curative effect on stable angina pectoris. Methods 56 patients with stable angina pectoris were randomly divided into low-dosage depside salt from salvia miltiorrhiza group (group A), high-dosage depside salt from salvia miltiorrhiza group (group B) and Danshen injection control group (group C). Every group was treated for 14 d. The symptom remittence, treadmill test improvement and changes of blood platelet packing fraction and P-selectin in the three groups were observed. Results Blood platelet packing fraction and P-selectin were decreased more in group A and group B than that in group C. Symptoms were alleviated and treadmill test were improved in group A and group B and no significant difference was found compared with group C. Conclusion Dpside salt from salvia miltiorrhiza can obviously inhibit the aggregation and activation of platelet, and can improve symptom of angina pectoris and ST-T changes of ECG.
