Abstract
The river course right downstream of Zuojiang Hydropower Plant had seen serious siltation,which not only blocked the water flow,but also affected the economic benefit of HPP,changed the original flow pattern of river,and led to serious water and soil erosion at the downstream bank slope.Based on analysis of the causes for the siltation,the author demonstrate the design,optimization and implementing effects of dredging scheme.
