Abstract
In this paper, the depth of rutting of asphalt concrete pavement is calculated using the Element-Free Galerkin method. And the influences of different types of structure, load, module and thickness of the middle course on anti-rutting performance of the pavement are analyzed. Then based on the model of the semi-rigid pavement, the influence of different distribution of nodes on the numerical results is analyzed. The numerical results show that the semi-rigid pavement has a better ability of rutting resistance;load and material of middle course can affect the depth of rutting. In order to avoid rutting, the ability of rutting resistance of middle course should be taken into consideration in pavement design.
