On Tian Wenjing and the Administration of Local Official under the Reign of Yongzheng Emperor

Abstract

TIAN Wen-jing was a famous exemplary Governor-General under the reign of Yongzheng Emperor.The political situation brought a turning point in TIAN Wen-jing's transference and promotion from the last years of the reign of Kanfxi Emperor to the first years of the reign of Yongzheng Emperor,he set a example for the stern local administration under the reign of Yongzheng Emperor.Both an honest and harsh official being a portrayal true to all TIAN Wen-jing's life,his appointment,transference and promotion construct a miniature of the local administration under the reign of the reign of Yongzheng Emperor which related the political situation at that time.
