Abstract
The optimal conditions of the rutile titanium dioxide coated with silicon oxide and aluminum oxide was obtained by the orthogonal test L9(34) that the quality of the dispersant was 0.2% of the mass of the rutile titanium dioxide, speed was 400 r/min,coated silica amount was 2% of the mass of the rutile titanium dioxide and alumina was 4% of the mass of the rutile titanium dioxide. The effect of titanium dioxide being coated was studied by using zeta potential instrument, scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and the mechanism of being coated was investigated thoroughly.
