Abstract
Three kinds of toxic heavy metals content in the soil from four different vegetable plots in Xi'an suburb and their corresponding vegetables are tested. The results show that: firstly, the east suburb soil reaches the soil environment requirements for pollution-free food, and in the soil from others, the Cd soil pollution is serious and the Pd,Cr soil pollution is terrible;secondly,in the 18 vegetable samples,27% reach moderate pollution, and 33% in heavy pollution, lastly, sewage irrigation is the main reason for the heavy metal pollution in the soil and their vegetables of Xi'an suburb.
