Abstract

OBJECTIVE To assess the validity, security and prognosis of laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) for treatment of different degrees myopia.METHODS According to the degree of myopia and astigmatism, patients were divided into low-degree group,middle-degree group and high-degree group, and LASIK was performed in them with NIDEK EC-5000 Ⅱ excimer laser.RESULTS At three months the most patients had a visual acuity of 1.0 or more in each group.the degree of cylinder lens was ±1.00D,and the degree of spherical lens also was ±1.00D.After operation their visual acuity never descend, and there was not any complication in the patients.CONCLUSION Using LASIK to treatment different degree myopia is effective, divinable and secure.
