Zoning for Rural Residential Land Consolidation Based on SWOT Analysis Model

Land consolidation is an important part of rural land consolidation,and it is also one of important measures to balance urban and rural development and release the contradiction between people and land.As a case of Yun County in Hubei Province,We introduced the SWOT matrix,constructed a rural residential land consolidation partition matrix,and established the evaluation index system of zoning for rural residential land consolidation based on analysis of strength,weakness,opportunity,threat,based on the analysis of internal and external factors that influenced rural residential land consolidation.Finally,we determined the zoning and measures according to the center distribution of rural residential land consolidation partition quadrilateral in township.Result showed that theⅠ class consolidation zone should pay attention to the integration of urban and rural areas,and speed up the comprehensive development of them;the Ⅱ class consolidation zone should raise funds actively,and focus on the planning and construction of the center village;theⅢclass consolidation zone should put the optimized internal structure of rural residential into the key point,and improve the land utilization;theⅣ class consolidation zone is not suitable for large scale consolidation,but unused land should be consolidated step by step.This research can provide a scientific basis for the planning of rural residential consolidation and project implementation.
