Inheritance and Innovation in Narrative Art: Artistic Achievement of Poem Qinfuyin

Qinfuyin,a poem written by Wei Zhuang in Tang dynasty,is one of the masterpieces in Chinese classical narrative poems.Its outstanding artistic achievement lies in its inheritance and innovation form to narrative art: in terms of structure,it associates the structure style of poetry in Han dynasty perfectly with the one in Tang Dynasty;in the narrative art,it inherits and develops the tradition by using the first and third person simultaneously which is established by Du Fu and Bai Juyi.Moreover,the poet firstly describes the beauties’ fate and combines her fate with the fate of a country in a poem.
