Abstract
Melamine has received more and more attention since the incidents of pet food in U.S.and infant formula milk powder in China caused by adulterated melamine. The present detecting techniques for melamine(chromatography,mass-spectrometry,spectrometry and capillary electrophoresis,et al.),partially satisfying the need of fast analyzing and low detection limits, still has disadvantage such as complicate pretreatments, expense on time and labor and expensive costs. Therefore, the rapid,simple,low-cost techniques for detecting melamine are desiderated. The regular and new-developed analytical methods for melamine are summarized to provide reference for the rapid and cheap detection of melamine and its analogues.
