On the Discipline Construction Strategy of New-constructed Universities from the Perspective of Quality Project

Discipline,the foundation of a university,marks its academic status and students' quality and is a comprehensive embodiment of a university's running level.Discipline construction exerts key influence upon the leaping and sustainable development of new-constructed universities.Before a new round of opportunities and challenges offered by the national project of teaching quality and teaching reform,these universities should plan discipline construction,clarify discipline advantage and speciality,highlight key disciplines,develop subsequently,strengthen the development of academia and the choice of learning field leaders,give priority to some disciplines so as to overall lead school construction and to improve running levels and quality by objectively analyzing the status and aim orientation of discipline construction.
