Abstract

Instability criterion of finite element strength reduction method in static and dynamic stability analysis of rock side slope is proposed.Combining with rock high side slope, stability of side slope under static and dynamic force is analyzed by finite element strength reduction method, and the obtained safety factor is not far different from the result obtained through the simplified Bishop method and pseudo-static method, which proves the feasibility of finite element strength reduction method in stability analysis of rock high side slope.
