Satisfaction for patients with endoscopic thyroidectomy and influence on the clinicaleconomic benefit of the clinical nursing pathway

Objective To analyze clinical pathway nursing in patients with thyroid operation on their satisfaction and clinical efficacy for providing experience for clinical nursing.Methods 98 patients who were underwent endoscopic thyroidectomy in the Affiliated Xiehe Hospital of Fujian Medical University from November 2011 to July 2012,were divided as the control group,providing routine nursing measures;106 patients who were underwent endoscopic thy roidectomy in The Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University from August 2012 to March 2013,were divided as the study group,providing clinical pathway nursing.Postoperative pain,postoperative bleeding,hospital stay and hos pital costs were recorded,and maed a contrast.Results ①The pain degree of patients in the study group was significantly lower than that of the control group.②The hospital stay of patients in the study group were(5.1 ±0.8) d,the control group were(6.2±1.1) d(P 0.05);the hospitalization expenses in the study group were(7800 ±152) yuan,control group were(8200±120) yuan(P 0.05).③Patients' satisfaction in the study group was significantly higher than the control group.Conclusion Clinical nursing pathway is a set of effective care program,which can reduce postoperative pain,and shorter hospital stay and cost,obtain satisfactory clinical effects.
