Abstract
Determination of phenol and formaldehyde in cross-linking agent of water-solublephenol-formaldehyde resin is an important title in oil field. Phenol and formaldehyde are determined byHPLC. The results show that the minimum detection limit of phenol is 0.1 μg/L, of formaldehyde is 5.0μg/L. The determination method has a good linearity, the correlation coefficient between phenolconcentration and peak area is 0.997 8, between formaldehyde is 0.999 2. This method can satisfy therequirements of determination of phenol and formaldehyde and peak area in cross-linking agent ofwater-soluble phenol-formaldehyde resin.
