Review of CO_2 corrosion and protection in oil and gas pipelines

CO2 widely exsist in oil and gas pipelines,it will produce different levels of corrosion to the oil and gas field pipeline,resulting in disastrous consequences,such as significant economic losses,casualties and environmental pollution.Through access to the extensive journal about CO2 corrosion,this paper briefly descriped the CO2 corrosion mechanism and influencing factors,including material and environmental factors,analyzed the characters of all kinds of anti-corrosion measures,including corrosion resistant material selection、coating protection、negative pole prttection and using corrosion inhibitor,based on what anti-corrosion basisi of oil gas pipelines are provided.
