Abstract
The author summarized M8 earthquake activity pattern characteristics in Mainland China such as the periodicity(30 years,53 years and 100 years),One hundred year of main active area and its pattern change,strong earthquake empty section filling and migration,group activity,many stage strong earthquake release characteristics of several decades and successive occurrence,recurrence characteristics.According to the current seismicity pattern anomaly,in future 5 years there will be 7.5 to 8.0 earthquake occurring in the western part of the Himalayas belt in Mainland China and Xinjiang,Sichuan and Yunnan are the noticeable areas.
