Abstract
Objective:To prepare the metronidazole buccal Tablet. Methods:By using orthogonal design, different formula and active ingredients according to the characteristics of buccal tablets were evaluated by the effect of the taste, appearance characteristics, disintegrating time, hardness and in vitro dissolution. Results:The optimal formulation composed of metronidazole 200 g,sucrose powder 40 g,mannitol 10 g,aspartame 20 g,4 percent Lemon Flavor,0.2 percent sodium carboxymethyl starch, and 0.5 percent magnesium stearate. Conclusion:The proposed process method is reasonable and favorable for industrial production.
