Abstract
Objective To evaluate CT virtual bronchoscopy (CTVB) in clinical practice.Materials and Methods CTVB was performed in 44 patients with the help of endoscopic software (Navigator fly through). The diagnosis in all patients was proved pathologically. The findings on CTVB were compared with bronchofiberoscopic results. Results The sensitivity of CTVB to the demonstration of intraluminal lesions was 75.4%, while the specificity was a little bit lower. Conclusion CTVB is a noninvasive diagnostic technique and may be served as a supplement to bronchofiberoscopy.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
