Abstract
A water bone epoxy emulsion has been prepared by use of phase inversion process. The epoxy resin is reacted with nonionic surfactant to form a reactive water borne epoxy emulsifier. The formed surface-active molecule segment is then introduced into the epoxy molecular chains. This paper has discussed the influence of structure of emulsifiers , molecular weight of surfactant,Mn of epoxy resin, amount of emulsifier and reaction time on the stability and viscosity of emulsion.
