Effect of Electroacupuncture Combined with Rehabilitation in Treating Patients with Hemiplegic Shoulder Pain

Abstract

Objective:To observe the curative effect of electroacupuncture combined with rehabilitation in treating the patients with hemiplegic shoulder pain.Methods:129 cases of stroke were randomly divided into 3 groups,acupuncture rehabilitation group of 46 cases were treated by acupuncture and rehabilitation,acupuncture group of 41 cases were treated by acupuncture,rehabilitation group of 42 cases were treated with regularly physical therapy.Numerical rating scale,the simplified Fugl-Meyer upper limb movement functional score and activity of daily living scale were observed before and after treatment.Results:There was significant differenice between each group before and after the treatment,numerical rating scale,the simplified Fugl-Meyer upper limb movement functional score and activity of daily living scale in acupuncture rehabilitation group were higher than that in the other two groups.Conclusion:Electroacupuncture combined with rehabilitation can facil the change of pain and upper limb movement function in hemiplegic shoulder pain patients.
