Urbanization,Trade Openness and Changes in Regional Economic Disparity

This paper analyzes the trend of income disparity among provinces since the reform and opening of our country.By employing time series measurement technology,we find that urbanization and trade openness have effect on economic disparity,and difference in dualistic structure and difference in trade openness have a positive correlation with economic disparity.This study reveals that Balancing Urban and Rural Development,Coordinating China's domestic development with opening up and regional development as a whole are interrelated.We must coordinate relations between them in Practice.
