Abstract

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Astragalus and Salvia Miltionrrhiza Injection in vein in treatment of aged patients of chronic heart failure.Methods:Eighty-three patients were randomly divided into two groups. The treated group and the control group were treated with the same routine medicine while the treated group was additionally treated with Astragalus and Salvia Miltionrrhiza Injection in vein by intravenous drip. The clinical efficacy before and after treatment and the changes of Color Doppler ultrasonic cardiogram examinations were both observed. Results:The apparent efficiency and the total effective rate in the treated group were remarkably better than that of the control group(P0.05).The rate of EF,CO,SV and CI of the two groups were obviously improved after treatment(P0.05).Each index of the treated group had been improved more than that of the control group(P0.05,P0.01).Conclusion:Astragalus and Salvia Miltionrrhiza Injection in vein based on the routine medicine in treatment of aged patients of chronic heart failure is safe and effective. The mechanism of that method needs futher study.
