Abstract
The influence of Western culture on the East and spread of Chinese culture to the West took place simultaneously during Ming and Qing Dynasties and the spread is a necessary development of the cultural communication between China and Western world in a particular historical condition.It have historical and material reasons of the communication,conditions created by Western preachers during their preaching and enlightenment and shows extensive and profound,rich-contented Chinese culture.According to European Scholars' different understandings,Chinese culture had an influence on various aspects such as religion,history,politics,morality and language,illustrating the conflict,confluence and complement between Chinese and Western Cultures.
