Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of the spleen-strengthening and stomach-reducing needling for the treatment of simple obesity. Methods:Sixty simple obesity patients were equally randomized into two groups. The treatment group received spleen-strengthening and stomach-reducing needling, and the control group received uniform reinforcing-reducing needling.Patients of two groups received acupuncture once a day,and eight days constituted one treatment course. The course interval was 2 days, and the treatment lasted six courses.Therapeutic effect was evaluated after six courses. Results:The total effective rate in the treatment group was superior to that in the control group(P 0.05).Waistline,hip circumference and waist-to-hip ration(WHR),as well as body weight, cholesterol and triglyceride in two groups after treatment were improved(P 0.05 compared with those before treatment),and the improvement was obvious in the treatment group(P 0.05 compared with that in the control group).Conclusion:Spleen-strengthening and stomach-reducing needling has a better therapeutic effect on simple obesity patients, and can also decrease blood lipid level.
