Abstract

A lot of myths and legends about Yao King,and many temples,gardens,tombs and relics that connect with the Yao King are distributed in Jinnan.These sacrificial rites in traditional society embody the official and civilian rituals because of the ancient feudal hierarchy and their different interests.Nowadays,Yao King's fetes have become a kind of local cultural resource.Worship of Yao King in Jinan has become a cultural function,which regulates people's lives,safeguards social stability,and enhances the group's cohesion.
