Abstract
Objective: To explore the role and the possible mechanism of Diaomozhibeng liquid in rats with the endometrial hyperplasia (EH). Methods: Forty-eight SD rats were divided into four groups including control group, model control group, the experimental low-dose group and the experimental high-dose group. The rat model of endometrial hyperplasia was induced with estrogen load. The Diaomozhibeng liquid was administrated in uterine cavity in rats. The expression levels of estrogen receptor (ER), ERα and ERβ were checked by immunohistochemistry. Results: Compared with control group, expres sions of ER, ERα and ERβ increased in rats of the model group ( P 0.001). However, after treatment with Diaomozhibeng liquid, the expression of ER, ERα and ERβ significantly decreased ( P 0.001). Expression levels of ER, ERα and ERβ were significantly lower in high-dose experimental group than those of low-dose experimental group ( P 0.05 or P 0.01). Conclusion: Diaomozhibeng liquid plays a role in endometrial hyperplasia by accelerating the ecclasis of uterine endometrial. One of mechanisms is maybe related to inhibiting the expression of ER, ERα and ERβ.
