Abstract
According to the investigative data of railway baggage and parcel physical properties and the transportation abilities of the baggage vehicles, the distributions of the transport volumes, packaging situations, volumes and weights of railway baggage and parcel are analyzed according to their different classifications. The concept of the idea volume-weight rate is established. The influences on the use of baggage vehicles by the packing, ware and classification of the railway baggage and parcel are discussed. Then the reform suggestions about the packing, loading technology, transportation price of the railway baggage and parcel are also put forward.
