Abstract

Objective To investigate the laser therapeutic effects of retinal tears and retinal detachment with vitreous hemorrhage.MethodsA retrospective survey was done in 32 patients (32 eyes) with retinal tears and retinal detachment accompany with vitreous hemorrhage who underwent binocular covered, laser therapy, or operation. ResultsThere are 12 eyes be with retinal detachment. All of the eyes were treated with laser therapy and 2 of them were treated with scleral buckling surgery. Retinal reattachment was achieved and vitreous hemorrhage did not recur. ConclusionIn the cases of retinal tears and retinal detachment with vitreous hemorrhage, multiwavelength laser therapy and operation is recommended.
