The balanced regional development of higher education is the motive power for the development of local society and economy.Due to its economic,geographical,national and policy-making factors,Yunnan's higher education reveals a clear unbalanced regional development in terms of its overall planning,scale and structure.Its balanced regional development relies on the government macro-adjustment,further regional cooperation,more investment and further integration of local regions.
