Abstract

During 2006-2008, the comparative test of 11 new varieties such as GT94/119 was conducted, which lasted for 1 plant crop and 1 ratoon crop. The results showed that: the cane yield and cane sugar content per hectare of ROC22 were the highest. YT96/86 and Yuanlin6 had thick stem, whose cane yield and cane sugar content per hectare were higher than that of ROC16, they had better comprehensive performance and some extending potential for production. GY9 and YT00/236 had high sucrose content. GY9 should be properly extended, whose cane yield and cane sugar content per hectare were medium.
