Abstract

Analyzing the Imperial Academy(翰林院),cabinet and department dish and situation that outside rotate,the political function of the Imperial Academy can't still be ignored.And the Imperial Academy takes charge with the large-scale study activity called Jingyan,which held for their majesty.So the Imperial Academy officers are not only the officals but also the teachers of the emperors,which has paved the way for full play of the political function of the Imperial Academy too.It is obvious that the Imperial Academy of the Ming Dynasty plays an important role in the political life of Ming Dynasty.The political function of the Imperial Academy in Ming dynasty also have some negative sides.
