Abstract
In the present paper, three new species of Tetrigoidea from Xishuangbanna are described. Besides, the male of Tetrix torulosinota Zheng and the female of Tetrix barbifemora Zheng are described. Type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Shaanxi Normal University. 1 Criotettix bannaensis sp. nov. (Fig. 1 a, b) This new species is related to Criotettix torulosinotus Zheng and Criotettix brachynotus Zheng et Jiang. It differs from both by the lateral spine of pronotum transversal. It differs from the former by the disc of pronotum without small tubercles. It differs from the latter in: 1) width of vertex narrower than the width of an eye distinctly; 2) lateral keels of prozona parallel; 3) hind process of pronotum just extending the top of hind femur; 4) hind wing not reaching the apex of hind process of pronotum. Length of body:♂7 mm; length of pronotum:♂7.5 mm; length of hind femur:♂6 mm. Holothpe ♂, Yunnan: Mengla, 14 09 1999, collected by Xie Ling De. 2 Hedotettix albipalpulus sp. nov. (Fig. 2 a, b). This new species is allied to Hedotettix attenuatus Hancock, but differs in: 1) head exerted above the pronotum; 2) palpuli white; 3) antennae inserted between the lower margins of eyes; 4) lateral keels of prozona slightly convergence behind. Length of body:♂7-8 mm; length of pronotum:♂11-12 mm; length of hind femur: ♂5.5-6 mm. Holotype ♂, paratype 1 ♂, Yunnan: Puwen, 18 09 1999, collected by Xie Ling De. 3 Euparatettix yunnanensis sp. nov. (Fig. 3 a, b, c) This new species is allied to Euparatettix gongshanensis Zheng, but differs in: 1) most half of eyes exerted above the pronotum; 2) in profile, upper margin of pronotum wave like; 3) width of middle femur distinctly narrower than the width of elytra; 4) hind tibia black. Length of body: ♀7 mm; length of pronotum: ♀11 mm; length of hind femur: ♀5 mm. Hologype ♀, Yunnan:Puwen, 18 09 1999, collected by Xie Ling De.
