Abstract
The poly( m-phenylenediamine)-chitosan composite membrane was formed on the surface of the platinum electrode by cyclic voltammetry, then glucose oxidase was covalently immobilized onto the composite membrane by using glutaraldehyde as crosslinking agent to form glucose electrochemical biosensor. The appearance feature of the film was observed by scanning electron microscope. The influence of the amounts of chitosan and the number of potential cycle on the features of the membrane was investigated. The amperometric response characteristics of the biosensor for glucose was investigated by current-time method. The results showed that the biosensor displayed rapid response to glucose( 3. 5s),and the response current was linear with glucose concentration over a range from 0. 02m mol·L-1~ 1. 27mmol·L-1with a detection limit of 0. 01m mol·L-1. The standard adding recovery ratio of glucose was 97. 1% ~ 102. 5%. The sensor has a good selectivity,a higher accuracy and precision for the determination of glucose.
