Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the treatment efficacy and compalication of stererotactic radiotherapy for pancreatic cancer.Methods:Thirty-five patients with pancreatic cancer received stereotactic radiotherapy 2~3 Gy/fraction every day, five days per week, and were added up to 20~35 fractions. They were given 5~8 coplanar or non-coplanar stationary beams stereotactic radiotherapy with total dose of 60 Gy~70 Gy.Results:Pain were relieved clearly in 83.33 % patients. The check of the patients'CT images at 2~6 month after treatment showed that the response rate was 60 %.One-year and two-year survival rates were 77.14 % and 29.16 % respectively. Conclusion:The stereotactic radiotherapy for pancreatic cancer can increase efficacy and decrease complications and is a better therapy for unresectable patients.
