Abstract

Objective:In order to evaluate the lead expelling effect of QKX health liquid. Methods:Male SD rats were randomly divided by weight into five groups including blank control group, lead model control group and three dosage(1.67 ml/kg.bw?3.33 ml/kg.bw?6.67 ml/kg.bw) groups of OKX health liquid. The experimental lead poisoning rat model was established by drinking water containing 0.1% lead acetate.QKX health liquid was administrated to rats through stomach every day.Weight was measured twice a week.Thirty days later, rats were killed and the concentrations of lead in blood, liver and femur were determined. Results:QKX health liquid could significantly reduce the cencentration of lead in liver but no obvious effect was observed on the levels of lead in blood and femur. Conclusion:QKX health liquid could increase lead excretion and thus lessen lead accumulation in liver of rats with high level lead intakes.
