Effect of Fertilizer and Irrigation on the Milling Quality in Rice

The effect of fertilizer and irrigation on the milling quality of different rice varieties was studied.The results showed as folˉlows:(1)The effect of fertilizer and irrigation on different types of varieties was unequal,with a sequence of erect panicle type cultiˉvarshybrid cultivarssemi-erect panicle cultivarscirved panicle cultivars.(2)The sequence of the effect of fertilizer and irrigaˉtion on the milling quality was head ricemilled ricebrown rice.(3)The effect of N fertilizer level on the milling quality was bigger than that of the irrigation,and the coupling effect was existed between fertilizer and irrigation.(4)With nitrogen fertilizer decreasing,brown rice wasn't declined under normal irrigation,and head rice was enhanced under mediate nitrogen and normal irrigation.
