Abstract

Since China's accession to the WTO,the competitive ability of auto manufacturing industry in Guangdong and Shandong has been increasing while the competitive ability of auto manufacturing industry in Shanghai and Jilin Province has been decreasing.Scale competitiveness plays a vital role while efficiency competitiveness plays an insignificant role.Factors which influence scale competitiveness and efficiency competitiveness are analyzed;suggestions for provinces to heighten the competitive ability of auto manufacturing are presented in the paper as well.
